Venelestis Botanical Oracle Decks are tools for divination through relationship.

They are designed for people who don’t want meanings handed to them, but who want to build a personal symbolic language through attention, observation, and repeated encounters. Rather than fixed interpretations, the cards invite you into an ongoing conversation with plants as living presences, shaped by your experiences, questions, memories, and environment.

These decks are for diviners, herbalists, occult practitioners, artists, researchers, and curious minds who trust that meaning emerges through practice, not instruction. They work equally well for beginners and experienced readers, because the system grows with you.

What makes these decks different

Botany as a shared language: Each card carries the internationally recognized Latin name of the plant. This grounds the deck in a neutral, cross-cultural reference point, not a predefined esoteric system, allowing meaning to arise through your own research and lived experiences.

Venelestis decks remain oracle decks at their core, they give answers, but not in the form of fixed keywords. The answers arise through attention, context, and the symbolic language you develop over time.

Traditional decks and their guidebooks often act as a authority, forcing you to memorize someone else’s vocabulary before you feel allowed or qualified to divine. Venelestis removes this middleman. These decks do not include a guidebook because the language of the natural world is already yours to command. When you look at a card, you aren't looking for a hidden code; you are observing biological reality. A root is a foundation, a thorn is a boundary, and a vibrant fruit is a result. By engaging with the plants at face value, observing their shapes, colors, and Latin lineages, you bypass authorial imposition of meaning and reclaim your own magical agency.

This absence of a book is not a lack of information, but an invitation to discipline. Relying on a guide often leads to outsourcing your intuition to an expert, which kills the actual dialogue between you and the spirit. In the Venelestis framework, meaning is built on the spot through sensory observation, personal association and relationship between you, the card and the spirits. Whether you see a red slug as a garden pest or free duck food, your perspective is the correct one for the reading. You don’t need a qualification in botany or a 200-page manual to understand the world you live in; you simply need to sit, look, and listen to the associations already present in your mind.
Buying a single deck gives you a set of tools; combining them gives you a custom ecosystem. All Venelestis decks are designed to work together seamlessly, allowing you to move beyond the standard set and curate a working deck that reflects your actual life. You can pull cards from different decks to build a personal court of spirits based on what is local to your environment, what you find in your kitchen, or the specific plants you are already working with in your practice. When you curate your own primary working deck, you aren't throwing away the remaining cards. All packages are carefully packed and are sent via tracked mail through the national postal carrier.

Shipping to the US

Because I send the packages through the Czech Post, which doesn't offer pre-payment of tariffs (and hence doesn't accept shipment of trade goods to the US at all, since the discontinuation of de minimis), all packages to the US will be declared as gifts and import customs fees have to be paid by the customer before the delivery via USPS.

This may result in delays of delivery. Since packages are shipped recommandé and tracked, there is no increased risk of loss of the parcel. Prior to shipping your order to the US, you will be contacted, to make sure you are aware of these circumstances.
