  • Venelestis Botanical Mini Decks are focused expansions designed to deepen specific relationships within your practice.

Rather than offering a broad overview, each mini deck concentrates on a single natural kingdom, allowing you to spend time with a smaller group of allies and let meaning develop through repeated experience. They are intended as companions to the standalone decks, but can also be worked with on their own for more contained, intentional exploration.

    What defines a mini deck

    Focused scope
Each mini deck contains 28-36 cards drawn from one natural kingdom. This limited scope encourages depth over breadth, making it easier to notice patterns, contrasts, and recurring themes as your symbolic language takes shape.

    Grounded reference point
All cards feature the internationally recognized Latin name of the species, providing a shared, neutral anchor that supports independent research and personal interpretation.

    Illustrations made for recognition
The artwork follows the same principles as the full decks: clarity, fidelity to characteristic features, and an emphasis on plants and fungi as they appear in the world, not as abstract symbols.

    Crafted with care
Printed locally in the Czech Republic on FSC-certified matte cardstock, the mini decks reflect the same attention to material quality and sustainability as the larger Venelestis collections.

How people work with the mini decks

Mini decks are often used to:

    • Deepen work with a specific group of beings, such as fungi, without distraction

    • Expand an existing Venelestis deck with new symbolic voices

    • Create smaller, portable working decks for focused divination or travel

    • Study and build familiarity with a limited set of species over time

    • Explore how a single natural kingdom speaks differently across questions and contexts

Because the system remains open, the mini decks adapt easily to your way of working, whether intuitive, research-driven, or relational.

    Designed to integrate

Venelestis Botanical Mini Decks are meant to be combined, layered, or isolated as needed. You can use them as standalone tools for concentrated work, or fold them into a larger personal deck that reflects your current focus, landscape, or questions.

A smaller circle, a deeper conversation

Mini decks offer a way to slow down and listen more closely.

By narrowing the field, they invite attention, familiarity, and nuance, allowing meaning to form gradually through use rather than instruction. Whether used alone or alongside the larger decks, they support the same core practice: divination as a living conversation with the natural world.

Meaning is still built, just with fewer cards on the table.

Must have for mushroom lovers :D

This is such a cute lil mushroom deck! As a Slavic person who continues the cultural legacy of annual mushroom hunting (lmao), I absolutely love this deck - the illustrations are beautiful and detailed, and the selection of mushrooms is on point.

As a fellow Slavic person, I second the notion of keeping the cultural mushroom hunting legacy well and alive :)

    Thank you ♥

    Great theme for an oracle

I own the four decks created by Venelestis and I absolutely love them!

The mushroom them is great as it is not often featured in oracle decks, in particular with such accuracy in the illustrations.
