An invitation to The Plant Kinship Circle

I have spent the last month in musical immersion and silence (if you are interested how that worked, I have explained it in a YT video on my channel, and in the coming week or two I will be posting a video on how it went). 

My experience over the past 32 days, as of writing this article, has been profound. The exclusion of other voices, endless scrolling, podcasts, think pieces, stories and storytimes has allowed me to rediscover what my purpose is, but above all, HOW to go about embodying that calling. 

The first step for me, that I have decided to go ahead with ASAP, is starting what I lovingly call the Plant Kinship Circle, which is going to be a monthly newsletter.

In the Plant Kinship Circle, we will dedicate each month to immerse ourselves and really get to know a plant ally as deeply, as we want or as we can. I will send you a little note with my thoughts about the month, the plant ally’s current seasonality perhaps, why it has been chosen and some exercises meant to help you train your ability to connect with nature, but also other spirits as well. 

The goal of the Circle is not for me to educate you on facts and properties of plants. It is to offer you tools and hold space for your own exploration to happen as you see fit. 

It is up to you, if you use the month to study the plants medicinal, magical, chemical properties, or its biology. You can also use the month as an invitation to go out in the world and find this plant, its related species that are local to you and learn to identify it. 

You can also, and that is my personal hope, take this month to establish a deep connection and relationship with the plant spirit, that will last a lifetime and in the process expand your practice and your ability to enter into a dialogue with nature and its spirits. 

The Plant Kinship Circle is ultimately about animism, our place in the world, nature and universe and finding a way back to the universal wisdom that guides us, rather than a deep immersion into botany and herbalism. 

In this monthly mail I will send those who join a bundle featuring: 

• a set of 4K mobile wallpapers in a light and dark mode, with versions for your lockscreen. These wallpapers will be one of my plant illustrations.

• A set of 4K desktop wallpapers, featuring photography of that same plant with a plant-only version + plant with card version. 

This Plant Kinship Circle will remain free for as long as I am able to facilitate it.
